Bumbershoot, or Not!

So, I missed most of Bumbershoot this weekend. I even had picked up a platinum pass (work is supposedly reimbursing me - I don't think they'll reimburse Onereel.org's ability to charge me for the ticket 4 times.)

I just ordered the two Amadan CDs from CDBaby (Irish-American rock). I've heard good reviews on their second cd, and weak reviews for their first one. (Picked up both to be safe.)

September doesn't look like it's going to be a rocking month, rock-wise. October though! Will I be home at all...?

Franz Ferdinand is overpriced, at the Paramount on Oct. 1st & 2nd. I don't like their music enough to pay $30. Maybe if there was nothing else this month.

Mike Doughty is doing the Showbox on Oct. 3rd - tons of friends are going.
Visqueen is playing at the Crocodile on Oct. 8th.
(I'll be out of town for a week after that.)
Dropkick Murphys are playing the Showbox on Oct. 18th
The Wages of Sin are having a CD-release party on the 22nd (Jules Maes)
Decemberists are playing Showbox...problably...on the 27th/28th.

(November has some early shows - Red Elvises at Tractor, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Benroya)
