Went to a Street Dogs/Tiger Army/12 Step Rebels show on Monday. Recovered my hearing late Tuesday. Street Dogs were good - I missed them last time they were in town. Tiger Army - fair. 12 Step Rebels, well...I wanted my drinks, and it was all-ages at the Corazon - I had to go in a separate area for that.
Mike Doughty is next Tuesday - sounds like I've got a ton of coworkers and friends going. His new album, Haughty Melodic, is definitely cool - even if you've heard it all...the studio time totally shows. (If you haven't heard him yet, you can listen to fan-recorded shows on archive.org.)
May 26th, I'm going to VNV Nation with some friends...I've heard one of their albums, sounds fun/different. Trying to find a used CD before the show.
Skipping E3, might fit in San Diego Comic Con, Origins, missing GenCon Indy. Sadness.
